If the base colour of your hair goes from brown to dark blonde and you decide to lighten it, you may possibly cause red, orange or gold highlights in the natural pigmentation of your hair.
If you want to eliminate any natural reddish highlights, you may need to use the Ash tone (C) in combination with the Natural tone (N).
One more tip
Is your starting tone, for example, 5 natural and you would like to lighten it to a natural 6? Here is how to proceed with Herbatint.
– With less than 30% of grey hair: 20 ml 6N + 40 ml 7C
– With 50% of grey hair: 30 ml 6N + 30 ml 7C
– With more than 50% of grey hair: 40 ml 6N + 20 ml 7C
If on the other hand you prefer to obtain a colour that emphasizes the warm tones tending to copper or gold, blend the natural shade (N) you have chosen with the Golden (D) or Copper (R) shades.
